NEW DELHI - Delhi was greeted by a slightly misty morning, leading to a relatively warm Saturday as the maximum temperature was recorded at 23.5 degrees, two degrees above average.

“The weather will be similar over the next couple of days but the morning is likely to be slightly foggy,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 7.7 degrees — normal for this time of the year. The sky was partly cloudy and likely to remain so for next few days.

According to IMD, Sunday will again witness mist and slight fog in the morning but the day would be clear with bright sunshine.

“The maximum humidity was recorded at 92 percent and the minimum was 15 percent,” the IMD official added.
