Children’s exhibit to open at Adler Planetarium
CHICAGO — Young space explorers will find a new frontier in Chicago.
An extensive children’s exhibit is set to open at Chicago’s Adler Planetarium this week.
It’s called “Planet Explorers” and features a hands-on approach where children can crawl and climb through the exhibit.
Organizers say the activities are recommended for children ages 3 to 8.
The display includes microscopes, a stimulated rocket launch and a mock research station on the exhibit’s “Planet X.”
The exhibit opens to the public on Friday.
