Chilly morning, sunny day ahead

NEW DELHI - Delhiites woke up to a chilly yet sunny morning Thursday with the minimum temperature at 8.8 degrees Celsius. The weather office predicted a clear sky and a drop in temperature late evening.

“Early morning was misty, but it will be a sunny day with clear sky. The mist will continue during early mornings. The temperature is expected to drop during late evenings,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official told IANS.

The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 24 degrees - almost two notches below the average.

“No rains are expected in the coming few days,” the official said.

The maximum humidity was recorded at 92 percent while the minimum was 31 percent.
