Warm, sunny day in Delhi

NEW DELHI - The sun shone brightly over the Delhi sky Wednesday, while the maximum temperature remained average. However, the mercury is expected to rise further in the days ahead, a weather department official said.
“The maximum temperature was recorded at 22.8 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was a notch below normal at 9.3 degrees,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The humidity levels wavered between a high of 83 and a low of 33 percent.
According to the IMD, Thursday will be warm, with a cloudy evening. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 24 and 9 degrees Celsius, respectively.
